The youngest member of the team, what Pidge lacks
in height he makes up for with energy and intelligence. Raised in the
Australian Outback riding emu and dodging poisonous snakes and crocodiles,
Pidge's agility is second to none. The son of a long, strong line of
Australian Ermine, a breed made up mostly of ermine, ferret, and martin,
he's inherited a survival instinct that keeps him on his toes.
As a Sagittarius, Pidge is optimistic, energetic, and
above all persistent. Despite his youth, he's probably the most grounded
of all the Voltron Force, rarely letting whimsy and fancy cloud his scientific
view of the world. He prefers to go into a situation knowing all angles
and with a set plan rather than running on heart and instinct like most of
his teammates. He can be impatient and pushy, especially towards Hunk,
but is an overall generous soul.
Pidge is just as adept at flying as his friends, but
is doubtful of some of the magical claims about them. He has, however,
figured out most of the scientific workings of the lions, even helping Hunk
improve on their systems. Hand-to-hand, Pidge is the most acrobatic
of the team. His mustelid nature makes him an exceptional swimmer,
and extremely flexible, although he does have some trouble with traveling
in trees with too-spaced branches since most of his strength is in his spine,
not his legs.
Pidge spends most of his time in scientific pursuits,
a vast contrast to his rancher parents. A prodigy, he enjoys performing
experiments, and while his friends often enjoy watching him, they're usually
careful to stay out of the way lest they get electrocuted, burnt, dissolved,
etc. He does on occasion find time to tag along on hunts and so forth,
although they are not his favorite activity. He does, however, enjoy
playing calmer games versus his friends, although he sometimes has trouble
beating them at certain games because he usually plays by strategy and they
play with no logical, discernible method whatsoever, making it extremely
hard for him to predict and counter their moves.
